Installation and Maintenance Points: Before installation, clean the journal (surface roughness Ra≤0.8 μm, no scratches/burrs) and mounting groove. Use a special tool to align the seat ring positioning step with the groove and press it in. Do not strike the thrust surface. The journal needs to be tempered to HB 280–320 and surface hardened to HRC 50–55 (hardened layer ≥2 mm).

Clearance Control: After installation, use a plug gauge to measure the axial clearance, ensuring 0.05–0.12 mm. If the clearance exceeds the tolerance, adjust by replacing the adjusting shims with different thicknesses (0.05 mm/0.1 mm specifications). For heavy-load conditions, a clearance of 0.08–0.1 mm is recommended.

Lubrication Requirements: Apply extreme pressure lithium-based grease (NLGI Grade 2) to the thrust surface before installation. During operation, rely on system oil lubrication (flow rate ≥ 0.8 L/min). Check oil quality/quantity every 2000 hours to prevent dry friction on the thrust surface from causing coating wear.

Troubleshooting: If abnormal noise/temperature rise occurs, first check for thrust surface wear (wear > 0.1 mm requires replacement), deformation of the locating step, or insufficient lubrication. If necessary, replace the bearing race and correct the axial runout of the shaft system to ≤ 0.1 mm.
