Installation and Maintenance Points: Before installation, clean the bearing housing hole (free of burrs/scratches), end cover flange surface, check the O-ring for damage, and apply a small amount of Cat 5P-0960. Grease is applied to the O-ring surface to ensure a good seal.

Positioning Requirements: The end cap stop and bearing housing bore should have a transition fit (H7/h6). The flange face should be flush with the bearing housing (clearance ≤0.05 mm). Bolts should be tightened diagonally in two stages (torque 25–30 N·m) to prevent uneven loading that could lead to seal failure.

Maintenance Requirements: Check the end cap tightness every 1000 hours. If leakage occurs, replace the O-ring and retighten the bolts. If the end cap is deformed (flatness > 0.1 mm), it needs to be corrected or replaced.

Troubleshooting: If the bearing bore is worn (≥0.1 mm), replace the end cap and repair the shaft diameter (chrome plating/spraying). If the O-ring is aged, it is recommended to replace it every 2000 hours.
