CAT 3S-7166 Sleeve

CAT 3S-7166 is a straight protective sleeve for Caterpillar hydraulic hoses (it can also be used as a shaft positioning/sealing bushing). It is compatible with the hydraulic hoses of Cat 320D/336D excavators, the pilot oil circuit of 966M loaders, and the high-pressure oil hoses of C15 engines. Assembly fit: Compatible with 25.4 mm diameter shafts/hydraulic hoses (tolerance h8, 0/-0.022 mm). During installation, use a clearance fit (0.01-0.03 mm clearance) with the shaft/hydraulic hose. 9S3265 fastener can be used for fixing to prevent loosening. Leave 2-3 mm installation allowance at both ends to avoid interference with surrounding components.

Installation and maintenance points: Before installation, clean the inner hole of the sleeve and the surface of the shaft/hydraulic hose, checking for scratches and rust. Measure the shaft/… The oil pipe diameter must meet the required clearance. The radius of the shaft/oil pipe fillet should be ≤1.5 mm to avoid stress concentration.

Use the cold-fitting method for installation. Smoothly insert the sleeve into the designated position on the shaft/oil pipe. If fixing is required, evenly apply 9S3265 fastening adhesive to the inner hole of the sleeve. After assembly, allow it to stand for 30 minutes to cure. Do not strike directly with a hammer to prevent deformation.

Maintenance Recommendations: Check the sleeve for wear and looseness every 1500 hours. If the surface wear exceeds 1.0 mm or loosening occurs, replace it immediately. In hydraulic pipeline applications, regularly check the pipeline pressure to prevent overpressure that could cause sleeve rupture and ensure the safe operation of the hydraulic system.
