Installation and Maintenance Points:
Before installation, clean the inner and outer rings of the bearing, the journal, and the bearing housing bore. Check for scratches, rust, and cracks. Measure the dimensions of the journal and bearing housing bore to ensure the fit meets requirements. The journal fillet radius should be ≤1.5 mm to avoid stress concentration.
Use the heating installation method (oil temperature 80-90℃, do not exceed 100℃). After the inner ring expands, smoothly slide it onto the journal. After natural cooling, check the tightness of the fit. Use a pressure block to smoothly press the outer ring into the bearing housing. Do not directly strike the outer ring to prevent damage to the rollers and raceways. After installation, adjust the axial clearance to 0.05-0.10 mm.
Lubrication and maintenance: Grease lubrication should fill 30-50% of the bearing’s internal space (Cat Moly Grease is recommended). For oil lubrication, ensure a stable oil level. Check the bearing temperature, vibration, and clearance every 800 hours. Replace the bearing immediately if the temperature exceeds ambient temperature +40℃, the vibration is abnormal, or the radial clearance exceeds 0.25 mm.
