Check for cracks, rust, and roller jamming. Measure dimensions and fit tolerances to ensure compliance. Apply Cat-specific assembly oil to the bearing housing bore for easy cold-press installation.
Use a special press to apply even pressure during installation. Do not strike the end face or rollers to prevent damage to the bearing steel. After installation, adjust the axial clearance to 0.025-0.050 mm. Manually rotate the shaft to ensure there is no jamming or abnormal noise.
Maintenance and Replacement: Check bearing wear, temperature, and vibration every 1500 hours. If radial clearance > 0.15 mm or peeling or cracks appear, replace immediately. It is recommended to replace the bearing simultaneously with the bearing cap and O-ring to ensure support and sealing effectiveness.
