CAT 473-4839 is an integrated tapered roller bearing assembly designed by Caterpillar for drive/hydraulic systems. Use a special press to apply even pressure during installation. Do not strike the end face or rollers. After installation, adjust the axial clearance to 0.030-0.060 mm. Manually rotate the shaft to ensure there is no jamming or abnormal noise.

Maintenance and Replacement: Check for wear, temperature, and vibration every 1500 hours. If the radial clearance is >0.18 mm or peeling or cracks appear, replace immediately. It is recommended to replace the components simultaneously with the bearing cap and O-ring to ensure support and sealing effectiveness.
