CAT 425-0711 is a Caterpillar heavy-duty straight sleeve bearing, suitable for the hinge parts of the working device of loaders such as Cat 416F2 and 420F2. Its core function is to support the hinge pin, reduce relative motion wear, withstand heavy loads and impact conditions, and ensure operational stability. It is a key wear part of the transmission and working device, Cat® Parts. The following is structured technical and application information:
Core Technical Parameters
Item Details

Compatible Models and Applications
Compatible with Cat This product is suitable for the boom and stick hinge joints and connecting pin holes of the connecting rod and working device on 416F2, 420F2, and 428F2 excavators and 420XE loaders. It includes hinge pins, locking washers, and locking bolts. It withstands radial and impact loads, supports the hinge pins, and reduces wear.
Performance Parameters: Surface hardness HB190-230, compressive strength ≥620 MPa, tensile strength ≥210 MPa, fatigue life ≥6×10⁵ cycles, wear rate ≤0.008 mm/1000 hours, maximum oscillation angle ±25°, maximum oscillation frequency 4 times/second.
Structural and Performance Advantages: Wear-resistant and self-lubricating: The tin bronze material has a high oil content and excellent self-lubricating properties, making it suitable for harsh working conditions such as dust and vibration. Compared to ordinary steel bushings, its lifespan is increased by approximately 2.5 times, reducing the frequency of lubrication maintenance.
Heavy-duty fit: The material boasts excellent compressive strength and toughness, capable of withstanding heavy loads and impacts during excavation and loading operations. Interference fit ensures structural stability, preventing loosening and guaranteeing connection rigidity.
Easy installation: The integral straight-cylinder structure allows for quick press-in into the pin hole using a hydraulic press, eliminating the need for additional positioning structures. This facilitates rapid on-site replacement, reducing maintenance costs.
Precision assurance: Strict dimensional tolerances and surface roughness control guarantee precise fit with the articulated pin, reducing impact and noise and improving operational smoothness.
Installation and maintenance points: Before installation, clean the pin hole and bushing surface, checking for cracks, deformation, and scratches. Press in coaxially using a hydraulic press. After installation, the inner hole roundness should be ≤0.02 mm to ensure flexible rotation of the articulated pin.
Maintain and check for wear every 400 hours. Replace immediately if inner hole wear >0.1 mm or if cracks or loosening are observed. Regularly add Cat 2G-8310 lithium-based grease, adding until overflowing each time.
Original parts should be preferred. Aftermarket parts may wear out prematurely due to insufficient material or precision, causing damage to the hinge pins and pin holes, which will affect the efficiency of the equipment.
