CAT 418-0210 is a Caterpillar straight-tube wear-resistant bushing (flangeless cylindrical bushing), compatible with Cat 950G/962G loaders, 777D mining trucks, 3126/C7 engines, etc. It is used in parts such as bucket linkages, steering knuckle pins, and hydraulic cylinder lugs, and plays a role in wear resistance, friction reduction, and positioning. It is a core load-bearing wear-resistant component of the traveling and working devices, Cat® Parts. The following is structured technical and application information:

Core Technical Parameters

Item Details
Basic Attributes
Model 418-0210, Type: Straight cylindrical bushing, Material: 42CrMo alloy steel (tempered HRC38-42, inner hole plasma sprayed WC-Co coating, thickness 0.15-0.20 mm, hardness ≥85 HRC), Single weight approximately 1.2 kg, Applicable temperature: -40℃ to +120℃, Suitable medium: mineral oil/hydraulic oil, Lubrication method: oil bath/grease lubrication (with axial oil reservoir)

Key Dimensions
Inner diameter: 50.00 mm (tolerance 0/+0.03 mm), Outer diameter: 65.00 mm (tolerance 0/-0.05 mm), Total length: 80.00 mm (tolerance ±0.10 mm), Inner hole roughness Ra≤0.8 μm, Outer diameter roughness Ra≤1.6 μm, Chamfered ends C1.5×45°, axial oil reservoir width 3 mm, depth 1 mm (4 evenly distributed grooves)

Compatible Models and Applications: Compatible with Cat 950G/962G loader bucket connecting rod pins and steering knuckle kingpins, 777D mining truck suspension balance shaft, 3126/C7 engine rocker arm bushings. One piece per pin, installed between the pin hole and the pin shaft, bearing radial load and transmitting motion.

Performance Parameters: Rated radial load ≥120 kN, coefficient of friction μ≤0.08 (grease lubrication), wear life ≥8000 hours, coating bonding strength ≥60 MPa, impact resistance ≥100,000 cycles (10 kN impact load)

Structural and Performance Advantages: High-strength wear-resistant design: 42CrMo alloy steel substrate ensures load-bearing capacity, WC-Co coating in the inner hole improves wear resistance, increasing life by 2-3 times compared to ordinary steel bushings, suitable for heavy-duty impact conditions.

High-efficiency lubrication: Evenly distributed axial oil reservoirs store grease, reducing friction between the pin and bushing, and minimizing wear and heat generation.

High-precision fit: Strict dimensional tolerance control ensures coaxiality ≤0.05 mm after installation, preventing pin wear and guaranteeing component movement accuracy.

Strong corrosion resistance: Blackened surface oxidation treatment makes it suitable for humid and dusty environments, preventing bushing corrosion and jamming.

Installation and maintenance points: Before installation, clean the pin hole and bushing outer diameter, checking for coating peeling and bushing deformation. Use cold-press installation (pressure ≤50 kN), and avoid damaging the coating by impact. After installation, check that the bushing end face fits snugly against the mounting surface (gap ≤0.1 mm), and the pin-bushing clearance is 0.05-0.10 mm.

Every 1000 hours of maintenance: Replenish with grease (NLGI 2 lithium-based grease), check for bushing looseness and inner hole wear (replace if wear ≥0.2 mm), and avoid dry friction between the pin and bushing. Original parts should be used preferentially. Aftermarket parts may have poor coating quality and dimensional deviations, which can easily lead to failures such as pin wear and bushing cracking.
