CAT 200-3275 is a Caterpillar needle roller bearing without an inner ring solid cage. It is suitable for radially space-constrained parts such as hydraulic pump drive shafts and travel motor output shafts in equipment such as mini excavators and skid steer loaders. Its core advantages are its compact radial structure and strong load-bearing capacity. It can withstand heavy radial loads in confined spaces and is a highly efficient support component for compact transmission systems. The following is structured technical and application information:
Core Technical Parameters

Suitable Machines and Locations
Suitable for: Cat 301.7/302.7 One shaft is provided for each of the following applications: hydraulic pump drive shaft for mini excavators, travel motor output shaft for 247/257 skid steer loaders, and vibratory motor input shaft for CB-24B mini road rollers. Each shaft is equipped with a radial load (maximum radial force ≤ 120 kN).
Performance Parameters: Rated dynamic load 120 kN, rated static load 180 kN, grease-lubricated limiting speed 3000 rpm, oil-lubricated limiting speed 3600 rpm, coefficient of friction ≤ 0.0025, cage-guided outer ring, allowable shaft misalignment relative to bearing housing ≤ 0.5°.
Structural and Performance Advantages:
Compact radial design: No inner ring structure, needle rollers directly contact the shaft, resulting in a smaller outer diameter for the same shaft diameter. Suitable for applications with limited radial installation space, such as hydraulic pumps and small motors, saving internal space.
High Load Capacity: The solid cage and dense needle roller design provide a large contact area between the needle rollers and the shaft/outer ring, enabling it to withstand heavy radial loads and withstand frequent start-stop impact conditions. The rated dynamic load reaches 120 kN, meeting the heavy-duty requirements of small equipment.
Flexible Installation: The inner ring-less design simplifies the installation process. It can be directly press-fitted onto the shaft and used with the bearing housing without additional adjustment of the inner ring to the shaft, improving maintenance efficiency.
Wear and Temperature Resistance: The bearing steel is quenched to a hardness of HRC60-64. The stamped steel cage is high-strength and heat-resistant, suitable for harsh outdoor environments in engineering machinery, with a service life ≥6000 hours (normal maintenance).
Installation and Maintenance Points: Before installation, clean the shaft diameter, bearing housing bore, and bearing. Check the shaft diameter surface roughness Ra≤0.8 μm, ensuring no burrs or scratches. Use a press to cold press the bearing into the bearing housing (pressure 8-10 MPa), ensuring the bearing end face fits snugly against the bearing housing locating surface. Do not strike the needle rollers or cage.
Maintenance every 1500 hours: Check for abnormal noises during bearing operation, temperature (≤85℃), and shaft wear. If pitting or cage deformation is observed in the needle rollers, replace the bearing immediately. For lubrication, use Cat HYDO 10 hydraulic oil or NLGI 2 lithium-based grease, filling the bearing cavity to 1/3-1/2 of its volume.
Prioritize genuine parts. Aftermarket parts may have insufficient needle roller precision or inadequate cage strength, easily leading to shaft wear, bearing seizure, and equipment failure.
