CAT 1P-2624 is a Caterpillar genuine single-row tapered roller bearing (for gearboxes/final drives, suitable for excavator/loader powertrains). The following is raw data only, excluding replacement parts information (Cat® Parts).

Core Technical Parameters (Raw Data)

Item Details
Basic Attributes Model 1P-2624, Type: Single-row tapered roller bearing (including inner ring/outer ring/rollers/cage), Material: High carbon chromium bearing steel (AISI 52100), Weight: 1.85 kg, Operating temperature: -40℃ to +120℃, Radial clearance: C3 grade, Suitable for: Mineral oil/synthetic gear oil, Lubrication method: Grease lubrication/Oil lubrication, Limiting speed: 2800 rpm (grease lubrication)/3600 rpm (oil lubrication)

Key Dimensions Inner diameter: φ85 mm (3.346 in), Outer diameter: φ150 mm (5.906 in), Width: 42 mm (1.654 in), Number of rollers: 18, Roller diameter: φ16 mm, Taper angle: 12°30′, Inner ring large end diameter: φ108 mm, Outer ring small end diameter: φ122 mm, Inner ring width: 22 mm diameter, outer ring width 20 mm, tolerances conform to ISO 3096 standard.

Compatible Models and Locations: Compatible with Cat 320D/323D excavator travel motor gearbox, 950H loader gearbox second shaft, C15 engine flywheel end bearing housing (1 piece per location), bearing radial + unidirectional axial loads, used for rotational support of power transmission components.

Performance Parameters: Basic rated dynamic load Cr=128 kN, basic rated static load Cor=152 kN, fatigue life ≥10000 hours, hardness HRC 60-64 (rollers/inner and outer rings), cage material phenolic resin, roller surface roughness Ra 0.4 μm, open seal (suitable for oil seal installation).

Structural and Performance Advantages: AISI 52100 bearing steel: high hardness and wear resistance, suitable for heavy load and impact conditions, excellent fatigue resistance, and not prone to spalling.

Single-row tapered roller design: Simultaneously withstands radial and unidirectional axial loads, optimized tapered surface contact, uniform load distribution, and high transmission efficiency.

C3 grade radial clearance: Adapts to temperature variations and installation errors, preventing jamming and reducing operating noise and vibration.

Phenolic resin cage: High strength and oil resistance, suitable for gearbox fluid conditions, precise roller guidance, and reduced friction and wear.

Installation and maintenance points (raw data)

Installation: Clean the bearing and mounting seat. Heat the inner ring to 80-100℃ (hot fitting method), or press-fit using a press (pressure ≤80 kN). Ensure an interference fit between the inner ring and the shaft (interference 0.015-0.025 mm), and a clearance fit between the outer ring and the housing bore (clearance 0.005-0.015 mm). The radial clearance after installation should be 0.12-0.18 mm.

Maintenance: For grease lubrication, use lithium-based grease (NLGI grade 2), filling the bearing cavity to 1/3-1/2 full. Check the grease condition every 2000 hours. For oil lubrication, maintain the oil level at the center of the lowest roller and periodically check the oil temperature to ≤80℃.

Troubleshooting: For abnormal noise, check clearance and lubrication; for excessively high temperature, check installation accuracy and oil level; for roller peeling/cracks, immediately replace the bearing and check for shaft/seat bore wear and misalignment.
