Structure and Core Functions:
Swivel Support: Provides low-friction screed camber adjustment shaft, ensuring smooth and stable adjustment, adapting to frequent angle adjustments required during paving operations.
Precise Alignment: Features a sealing ring design to prevent dust, asphalt debris, and oil from entering the bearing, ensuring the alignment accuracy of the adjustment shaft, reducing vibration and misalignment, and guaranteeing paving smoothness.
Heavy-Duty Adaptability: Can withstand radial and axial loads transmitted by the adjustment shaft, adapting to dynamic load changes during paver operation, improving the stability and durability of the mechanism.
Compatible Models and Application Scenarios
Compatible Equipment: CAT AP355, AP-300D, AP555, AP-655C, AP500F, BG-2455D, BG-2455C, and other asphalt pavers.
Core Purpose: Installed on the screed’s dynamic camber adjustment unit, it supports the adjustment shaft and maintains centering, suitable for the high-temperature, dusty, and high-vibration conditions of asphalt paving operations, ensuring precise control of the camber angle and improving road paving quality.
Installation and Maintenance Points
Installation: Clean the bearings, journals, and mounting holes. Check the bearings for deformation, rust, and damaged seals. Ensure the journal and mounting hole surfaces are free of scratches and burrs.
Use cold press-fitting. Use a special tool to evenly press the bearing inner ring in. Do not strike the bearing end face to avoid damaging the steel balls and raceways.
After installation, check that the bearing operates smoothly without jamming, the adjustment shaft has no radial runout, and the seals are tightly fitted without leakage.
Maintenance: Check the bearing condition every 1000 hours. If increased noise, increased rotational resistance, or aging of the seals are observed, replace the bearing immediately.
Regularly clean the area around the bearing to remove asphalt and dust buildup, preventing impurities from entering the bearing and affecting lubrication and sealing.
Store the bearing in a sealed, moisture-proof environment to prevent rust, which can affect installation accuracy and service life.
