CAT 595-2071 is a Caterpillar construction machinery straight sleeve bearing, also known as a bushing. It is primarily used in hinged parts such as connecting rods, rocker arms, and buckets to support rotational and oscillating movements. It is suitable for the connection points of the working devices of small and medium-sized excavators and loaders. The following is precise technical and application information:

Core Technical Parameters
Item Details
Part Model: CAT 595-2071 (5952071) Straight Sleeve Bearing, Suitable for 45 mm diameter pins, Single Weight: Approx. 0.85 kg (1.87 lb)

Core Material: Low carbon alloy steel (SAE 1045), surface hardened, hardness HRC 58-62, inner hole roughness Ra 0.8 μm, outer diameter roughness Ra 1.6 μm, wear-resistant and anti-seize

Key Dimensions: Inner diameter 45 mm (tolerance H7), outer diameter 52 mm (tolerance g6), total length 60 mm mm, inner bore with axial lubrication groove and radial oil holes (3, evenly distributed at 120°), oil hole diameter 4 mm

Rated Parameters: Suitable operating temperature -20℃ to +120℃, rated radial load 120 kN, suitable oscillation frequency ≤5 times/minute, suitable pin surface hardness HRC 45-50

Suitable Working Conditions: Suitable for low to medium load, medium oscillation frequency articulated parts, suitable for grease lubrication, anti-mud and anti-wear, suitable for dusty and vibrating conditions of construction machinery

Compatible Models: CAT 306E2/307E2 excavator (boom-stick articulation), 906M loader (rocker arm-frame connection), 226D3 skid steer loader (bucket-boom connection)

Accessories: Suitable pin 175-4042, bolt 106-7772 (M12×30), grease nipple 1U-8878, with dust ring 453-2167 during installation. Core Functions and Structural Features:

Support and Positioning: Alloy steel provides high-strength support, surface hardening enhances wear resistance, ensuring precise positioning of the hinge and preventing pin misalignment.

Optimized Lubrication: The axial lubrication groove and radial oil hole design in the inner bore ensure even distribution of grease, reducing friction and wear between the pin and bearing, and extending component life.

Anti-wear and Anti-seize: Surface hardening treatment and reasonable tolerance fit effectively prevent metal seizing under high-pressure conditions, suitable for harsh working conditions in engineering machinery.

Compact Structure: Straight cylindrical design for easy installation, suitable for confined spaces, requiring no additional adjustments, and can directly replace old bearings.

Installation and Maintenance Points:
Installation Specifications: Clean the bearing inner bore, outer diameter, and mounting holes to remove oil and burrs. Inspect the bearing for cracks, deformation, and rust in the inner bore.

Cold-press installation is adopted, with a pressing force ≤50 kN, ensuring an interference fit between the bearing and the mounting hole (interference 0.02-0.05 mm). After installation, the coaxiality deviation of the inner hole should be ≤0.05 mm.

After installation, inject lithium-based grease (NLGI Grade 2), ensuring the grease fills the lubrication groove. During trial operation, there should be no jamming or abnormal noise.

Maintenance Recommendations: Replenish grease every 500 working hours. Check bearing wear every 1500 working hours. Replace the bearing immediately when the inner hole wear exceeds 0.5 mm or surface peeling occurs.

Avoid prolonged dry friction operation to prevent premature wear of the bearing and pin, which could lead to loosening of the hinge joint.
