CAT 063-8125 is a Caterpillar genuine bearing locator/retainer (purely genuine factory information, no additional description). Installation and maintenance points:

Before installation, clean the journal and bearing inner ring end face, ensuring no burrs or oil stains. Check the retainer’s elasticity and the integrity of the screws, ensuring no deformation or stripping.

After the bearing is press-fitted into place, fit the retainer into the journal positioning groove and symmetrically tighten the two M6 screws to 8-10 N·m, ensuring the end face is completely flush with the bearing inner ring.

Inspection: After fixing, the bearing rotates freely without jamming, there is no axial movement during pushing and pulling, axial clearance is 0.05-0.10 mm, and radial runout is ≤0.05 mm.

Maintenance: Check the screw torque and retainer looseness every 2000 working hours. Disassemble and check the wear of the positioning surface every 5000 hours. Replace when the wear is > 0.03 mm to avoid bearing displacement causing failure.
