Installation: One piece per tappet shaft, installed on the outside of the bearing, secured with M6 bolts (tightening torque 8-10 N・m), cooperating with the retaining ring to achieve double axial limit.

Installation and Maintenance Points: Clean the retainer, tappet shaft, and mounting surface. Check the retainer for deformation and cracks. Ensure the positioning boss matches the pump body groove. The surface roughness Ra ≤ 1.6 μm.

During installation, first insert the retainer into the groove of the tappet shaft, ensuring the positioning boss is embedded in the pump body’s positioning hole. Then, tighten the M6 ​​bolts to the specified torque to prevent the retainer from loosening.

After installation, check that the axial movement of the tappet shaft is ≤0.02 mm, the clearance between the retainer and the bearing end face is 0.1-0.2 mm, and the tappet reciprocating motion is smooth without jamming or abnormal noise.

Maintenance: Every 2000 hours, check the retainer bolt torque (tighten if below 8 N·m), and simultaneously check the wear of the positioning boss (replace if wear >0.05 mm) to prevent shaft movement from damaging the bearings.
