Compatible Parts: Various rods, shafts, bearings, bushings, and other components requiring axial positioning.
Compatible Equipment: CAT 320D2/323D2 excavators, 966M/972M loaders, D6T bulldozers, etc., used for axial positioning of rods/shafts in gearboxes, hydraulic pumps, and travel mechanisms.
Installation: 1-2 pieces depending on the model and location. Install in the shaft groove to prevent axial movement of parts.
Installation and Maintenance Points
Clean the shaft groove and retaining ring. Check the retaining ring for deformation, cracks, normal elasticity, and intact clamp holes.
Use shaft retaining ring pliers to pry open the retaining ring, insert it into the shaft groove, and ensure it is fully embedded in the bottom of the groove, fitting snugly against the end face of the part without gaps.
After installation, check that the axial movement of the part is ≤0.03 mm, and that it operates smoothly without jamming or abnormal noise.
Maintenance: Check the elasticity and installation condition of the retaining ring every 2000 hours. Replace it immediately if deformation, loss of elasticity, or breakage occurs to prevent parts from shifting and causing damage.
