CAT 077-5077 is a Caterpillar genuine bushing (pure original factory information, no additional description). It is a wear-resistant support component between the shaft and the bearing housing, used to reduce wear between the shaft and the housing, suitable for rotating shaft systems in engineering machinery, bearing radial loads and assisting in lubrication distribution, thus extending the service life of the component.

Core Parameters and Information

Item Details
Part Model: CAT 077-5077 (0775077) Bushing

Structure Type: Straight cylindrical flangeless bushing with spiral oil groove and axial oil passage on the inner ring. Both ends are chamfered and deburred for easy installation and lubrication.

Material: Tin bronze (CuSn6Zn6Pb3), oil-containing self-lubricating formula, dense oxide film on the surface, hardness HB 80-100, coefficient of friction ≤0.15

Key Dimensions: Inner diameter 65 mm, outer diameter 75 mm, length 50 mm, oil groove depth 0.5 mm, oil passage diameter 2 mm, chamfered ends 30°×1 mm

Performance Parameters: Applicable load ≤15 kN, operating temperature -30℃ to 180℃, self-lubricating oil content ≥12%, compatible with mineral oil/synthetic oil/grease

Compatibility Standard: Complies with CAT shaft bushing technical specifications, dimensional tolerance GB/T 1243 – Grade 8, surface roughness Ra≤0.8 μm
Compatible Models and Assemblies
Compatible Parts: Matches CAT 077-4855 bearings and 077-5061 retainers. Installed on rotating shafts such as gearbox output shafts, hydraulic pump input shafts, and travel wheel axles, located inside the bearing or seat bore, providing support and wear resistance.

Compatible Equipment: CAT 326D2/336D2 excavators, 980M loaders, D7E bulldozers, etc. Used to isolate the shaft from the seat bore, compensate for assembly clearances, and reduce friction loss.

Installation: 1 piece per shaft. Interference fit with the seat bore (tolerance H7/r6), clearance fit with the shaft (tolerance d9). Oil groove faces the lubrication side. No additional fasteners required.

Installation and Maintenance Points: Clean the seat bore and shaft surface. Check the bushing for cracks, porosity, and dimensional errors. Ensure the oil groove/oil passage is clear and unobstructed.

Cold press the bushing using a specialized pressing tool, applying pressure evenly to the end face. Do not strike the sides. Ensure the bushing is coaxial with the seat bore, and that the rear end face is flush with the seat bore after installation.

After installation, check that the radial runout is ≤0.05 mm, the shaft-bushing clearance is 0.05-0.10 mm, and there is no jamming or abnormal noise during operation.

Maintenance: Check for wear every 2000 hours. Replace the bushing if the inner diameter wear exceeds 0.2 mm or if surface peeling occurs. Prevent direct friction between the shaft and seat, which could lead to failure.
