CAT 081-9022 is a Caterpillar genuine steel bushing/sleeve for construction machinery (0819022), compatible with 305.5E2/306E2 excavators and 226B3/236B3 skid steer loaders. It is used at the hinge joints of the boom, stick, and bucket pins, providing support, wear resistance, and friction reduction. Suitable for vibration and heavy-duty conditions, it ensures smooth pin rotation, reduces wear, and extends the life of hinged components (Cat®…).
Core Parameters and Information
Item Details
Part Model: CAT 081-9022 (0819022) Bushing
Type: Engineering machinery steel bushing, oil-free self-lubricating / oil-lubricated type
Material: 45# carbon steel, surface hardened + phosphated, some with copper-based / PTFE self-lubricating layer
Key Dimensions: Inner diameter 30mm, outer diameter 40mm, length 50mm, wall thickness 5mm, chamfer 1×45°
Performance Parameters: Operating temperature -40℃ to +120℃, hardness HRC58-62, radial load ≤50kN, coefficient of friction ≤0.15
Compatible Models: 305.5E2/306E2 excavators, 226B3/236B3 skid steer loaders
Matching Relationship: Matched with pins and seals, used for support and friction reduction at hinge joints
Applications:
Compatible Parts: 305.5E2/306E2 Excavator boom-stick and stick-bucket articulation pin holes; 226B3/236B3 skid steer loader bucket/attachment connection pin holes, providing support and reducing wear, preventing direct wear between the pin and the hole wall.
Applications: Suitable for vibration, heavy load, and dusty conditions, such as excavator digging operations and skid steer loader attachment operation, ensuring flexible rotation of the articulated parts, reducing wear, decreasing maintenance frequency, and extending component life.
Compatible with: Matches corresponding pins, O-rings, and dust rings, forming a reliable articulated pair suitable for equipment operating conditions.
Installation and Maintenance Points:
Installation: Clean the pin hole and bushing surface, press the pin into the hole using a cold pressing/hot pressing process, ensuring an interference fit between the bushing and the hole wall (interference 0.01-0.03mm), without misalignment or clearance; after installation, check coaxiality to ensure flexible pin rotation.
Maintenance: Check bushing wear and clearance every 200 hours. Replace immediately when radial clearance > 0.5mm. Regularly add grease (oil-lubricated type). For self-lubricating types, regularly check the surface lubrication layer to avoid dry friction.
Replacement: When disassembling old parts, check the pin hole wear. If the hole diameter is out of tolerance, it needs to be repaired by boring or the part needs to be replaced. Press the new part into its original position to ensure proper interference fit. Ensure the matching sealing ring is installed reliably to prevent oil leakage and dustproof failure.
