The CAT 093-2629 (0932629) bearing cap is a genuine Caterpillar cast iron bearing cap, compatible with the track roller/carrier roller bearings of the travel mechanism in CAT 320/323/325 excavators. It is used to seal and secure the bearing, preventing dust and moisture intrusion, and ensuring bearing lubrication and stable operation.
Core Parameters and Information
Item Details
Part Model: CAT 093-2629 (0932629) Bearing Cover
Type: Cast iron bearing cover, for track rollers/carrier rollers, compatible with tracked walking mechanisms
Material: High-strength ductile iron, anti-corrosion coating, tensile strength ≥420MPa, impact resistant, wear resistant
Key Dimensions: Inner diameter 120mm, outer diameter 180mm, thickness 25mm, mounting hole center distance 150mm, single weight approx. 3.2kg
Compatible Models: CAT 320, 323, 325 series excavators, compatible with track roller/carrier roller bearings
Matching Relationship: Matches with bearings, seals, and bolts; installed at both ends of the track roller/carrier roller to fix and seal the bearing.
Applications:
Applicable Parts: Bearing ends of excavator track rollers or carrier rollers; used to fix the inner/outer ring of the bearing; works with seals to seal the bearing cavity, preventing contaminants from entering and grease from leaking.
Application Scenarios: Suitable for earthmoving, infrastructure construction, and other working conditions. Compatible with the travel mechanisms of medium to large excavators, ensuring stable operation of track roller/carrier roller bearings under complex working conditions.
Core Functions: Secures the bearing, seals the bearing cavity, protects the bearing from dust, sand, and moisture, maintains grease performance, and extends bearing life.
Installation and Maintenance Points:
Installation: Clean the contact surfaces of the bearing cap and bearing housing, checking for deformation and cracks. After installing the sealing ring, align it with the bearing housing and tighten with 8.8 grade special bolts to a torque of 220-250 N·m, ensuring a good seal and no leakage.
Maintenance: Check the bolt tightness and sealing condition every 200 hours. If leakage or loosening is found, tighten or replace the sealing ring immediately. Avoid subjecting the bearing cap to severe impacts to prevent deformation and seal failure.
Replacement: When replacing, simultaneously check bearing wear. Verify the dimensions and mounting hole positions of the new bearing cap. After assembly, test rotation to ensure there is no jamming or abnormal noise.
