CAT 093-6537 (0936537) is a dedicated spring base for the track tensioning device of the Caterpillar 700GT track assembly. It supports the track tension compression spring, positions and transmits the spring preload to the track guide wheel, and is compatible with the 700GT track system of medium-duty excavators, ensuring stable track tension and cushioning impacts during travel.
Core Parameters and Information
Item Details
Part Model: CAT 093-6537 (0936537) Spring Base (Track Tension Spring Support)
Type: 700GT Track Assembly Tensioning Device Compression Spring Support Positioning Part
Material: Ductile Iron (QT450-10), surface coated with primer + topcoat, high strength, impact resistance, and wear resistance
Key Dimensions: Outer diameter approx. 180mm, inner diameter approx. 120mm, height approx. 85mm, single weight approx. 4.2kg
Compatible Models: CAT 312, 313, 315 and other medium-sized excavators (compatible with 700GT track assembly)
Matching Relationship: Matched with track tension compression spring, guide wheel support, and tension cylinder; 1 unit per track tensioning device
Compatibility and Application
Compatible Parts: 700GT The track tensioning device, located inside the track assembly and between the front end of the tensioning cylinder and the rear end of the compression spring, supports the spring and transmits preload, positions the spring relative to the tensioning cylinder, and buffers impact loads from track movement.
Application Scenarios: Earthmoving, municipal engineering, road construction, etc. Compatible with the 700GT track assembly. By stabilizing the spring, it ensures track tension, reduces abnormal wear on track links and guide wheels, and improves the reliability of the track system.
Core Functions: Supports the track tensioning compression spring, transmits preload to the guide wheels, positions the spring and tensioning cylinder, buffers impacts from movement, maintains stable track tension, and ensures smooth operation of the track system.
Installation and Maintenance Points:
Installation: Clean the mounting surface and mating parts of the base, checking for cracks and deformation; apply anti-rust grease; align the front end of the tensioning cylinder with the rear end of the spring’s positioning groove; tighten the bolts (torque 80-100 N·m), ensuring a tight fit with the spring end face without looseness.
Maintenance: Every 200 hours, check the base bolts for tightness, surface wear, and cracks. Replace any loose or damaged bolts immediately. Simultaneously check the spring elasticity and tension cylinder sealing.
Replacement: Use original parts whenever possible. After installation, test track tension; ensure it is normal, with no abnormal noise or impact during movement, guaranteeing stable operation of the tensioning device.
