CAT 094-2520 (0942520) is a Caterpillar 800GT series piston slipper assembly, adapted for high-pressure hydraulic pumps/motors. It works with the swashplate to form a sealed oil chamber, transmitting hydraulic power and reducing friction between the piston and the swashplate, ensuring power transmission and sealing performance under high-pressure conditions. It is one of the core wear-resistant components of piston pumps (Cat® Parts).
Core Parameters
Item Details
Part Model CAT 094-2520 (0942520) 800GT Slipper
Type High-pressure hydraulic pump/motor plunger slipper, compatible with 800GT series plunger assemblies
Material Copper-based alloy (CuPb10Sn10) + wear-resistant surface coating, suitable for high-pressure, medium-high speed conditions, excellent wear reduction
Key Dimensions Diameter approx. 50mm, thickness approx. 12.7mm, ball head radius approx. 12.7mm, compatible with plunger ball head mounting position
Compatible Models CAT 349, 352 and other large excavator hydraulic pumps (such as 988H/988K loader hydraulic systems), compatible with 800GT series plunger pumps/motors
Matching Relationship Matched with plunger ball heads, return plates, swashplates, 1 piece per plunger, typically 9-12 pieces per pump
Compatibility and Application
Compatible Parts: Hydraulic pumps / The piston end of the motor slides in contact with the swashplate, forming a sealed oil chamber to transmit hydraulic power, reduce friction between the piston and the swashplate, and prevent excessive wear.
Application Scenarios: High-pressure, heavy-duty conditions such as mining, large-scale earthmoving, and heavy lifting. Suitable for hydraulic pumps/motors in large excavators, loaders, and other equipment, ensuring power transmission and sealing performance under high-pressure conditions, and improving the efficiency and lifespan of the hydraulic system.
Core Functions: Forms a sealed oil chamber with the swashplate to transmit hydraulic power, reduce friction between the piston and the swashplate, prevent excessive wear, ensure power transmission and sealing performance under high-pressure conditions, and improve the efficiency and reliability of the hydraulic system.
Installation and Maintenance Points:
Installation: Clean the piston ball head and slipper ball socket, apply hydraulic oil, press the slipper into the piston ball head, ensuring a tight fit without gaps. After installation, test that the slipper slides smoothly with the swashplate without jamming or abnormal noise.
Maintenance: Inspect the wear and seal condition of the slippers every 500 hours. Replace them promptly if wear, scratches, or seal failure are observed to prevent hydraulic oil leakage, pressure drop, or excessive wear of the plunger and swashplate.
Replacement: Use genuine parts first. Replace all slippers in the same pump as a set. After installation, test the pump pressure and flow; ensure it is normal, leak-free, and free of abnormal noise to guarantee stable operation of the hydraulic system.
