Core Parameters and Information

Item Details

Part Model: CAT 006-7025 (0067025) Retainer

Part Type: Flange-type shaft end retainer, used for axial positioning of shaft parts to prevent movement during operation

Material: Gray cast iron (HT250), stress-relieved annealed after casting, surface hardness HB190-240

Key Dimensions: Inner diameter 45 mm, outer diameter 82 mm, thickness 18 mm, flange diameter 82 mm, number of bolt holes 4, bolt hole diameter 10 mm, bolt hole distribution circle diameter 68 mm

Structural Features: Integral flange structure with positioning step and bolt holes, center hole with internal chamfer for easy shaft end assembly

Surface Treatment: Shot blasting + anti-rust primer, salt spray test ≥72h

Installation Method: Secured to the equipment end cover with 4 M8 bolts On the housing, the positioning step mates with the shaft shoulder to achieve axial positioning.

Applicable working conditions: Static positioning, operating temperature -30℃~+150℃, suitable shaft speed ≤2000 r/min
Weight: 0.42 kg
Compatible models and assemblies:
Mini excavators: CAT 301.7CR, 302.7CR (hydraulic motor shaft end, slewing gearbox output shaft)
Skidney steer loaders: CAT 242D, 272D (gearbox input shaft, drive axle half-shaft fixing)
Matching parts: 006-7025 retainer, M8×20 bolts, flat washers, spring washers, locating pins
Installation and maintenance points: Clean the retainer mounting surface, shaft end, and bolt holes to remove burrs and oil stains. The flatness of the mounting surface should be ≤0.05 mm.

The retainer positioning step should mate with the shaft shoulder. Tighten the bolts evenly in 2-3 steps in a diagonal sequence, with a torque of 18-22 N・m.

Post-installation inspection: The runout of the retainer end face should be ≤0.08 mm, with no looseness or misalignment, and no interference with adjacent parts.

Maintenance: Check the bolt tightness and the appearance of the retainer every 1200 working hours. Replace immediately if cracks, deformation, or corrosion are found.
