CAT 008-0465 is a Caterpillar genuine straight-tube steel-backed composite bushing (pure original factory information, no additional description):
Core Parameters and Information
Item Details
Part Model: CAT 008-0465 (0080465) Bushing
Part Type: Straight-tube flangeless composite bushing, used for sliding support between shaft and seat bore, absorbing shock and vibration
Material: Steel back (SPCC low carbon steel) + intermediate sintered copper powder layer + surface PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) anti-friction layer, total thickness 2.5 mm
Key Dimensions: Inner diameter 35 mm, outer diameter 40 mm, length 45 mm, anti-friction layer thickness 0.2 mm, steel back thickness 2.3 mm
Structural Features: Oil-free self-lubricating design, evenly distributed oil reservoirs on the inner wall, suitable for clearance fits, no additional lubrication required (after initial assembly)
Surface Treatment Galvanized and passivated steel backing, salt spray test ≥96h, no oil film on the anti-friction layer surface, no cleaning required before assembly.
Matching: Outer diameter interference fit with seat hole (H7/r6), inner diameter clearance fit with shaft (D9/h9), radial clearance 0.03-0.06 mm
Rated Load: Radial rated dynamic load 18 kN, radial rated static load 32 kN, allowable linear velocity 1.5 m/s
Operating Temperature: -50℃ ~ +200℃
Weight: 0.18 kg
Compatible Models and Assemblies:
Mini Excavators: CAT 301.7CR, 302.7CR (boom pin, stick pin bushing)
Skidney Steer Loaders: CAT 242D, 272D (bucket connecting rod, rocker arm pin bushing)
Matching Parts: 008-0465 Bushing, mounting block, guide sleeve, dust ring
Installation and Maintenance Points
Clean the seat hole and shaft diameter, removing burrs and oil stains. Seat hole roughness Ra≤1.6μm, shaft diameter roughness Ra≤0.8μm.
Use a special press to smoothly press the bushing into the seat hole. Do not strike the bushing end face. Ensure the bushing end face is flush with the seat hole end face.
Post-installation inspection: Bushing inner diameter roundness ≤0.02 mm, coaxiality ≤0.03 mm, no jamming or misalignment.
Maintenance: Check bushing wear every 2000 working hours. Replace when inner diameter wear exceeds 0.2 mm. Avoid direct contact between the shaft and the bushing steel back.
