CAT 031-4773 RETAINER

Installation and Maintenance Points:

After the bearing is press-fitted into place, insert the retaining clamp into the bearing outer ring locating groove, ensuring a tight fit with the bottom of the groove without gaps.

Align the mounting base locating hole, insert the locating pin, and tighten the M6 ​​bolt to the specified torque. Bend the elastic arm flange (90° angle) to prevent loosening.

Check that the axial movement is ≤0.05 mm, ensuring the retaining clamp is not loose or deformed.

Maintenance: Inspect every 1000 working hours. Replace the retaining clamp if deformation exceeds 0.2 mm, serrations are worn, or bolts are loose. Simultaneously check the condition of the bearing and bushing.
