Installation and maintenance points: Clean the journal and bearing housing bore, ensuring no burrs or oil stains. Inspect the bearing for deformation, rust, or abnormal noise. Ensure clearance meets C3 grade. Check for damage to the dust cover.

Cold press the journal (interference 0.012-0.020 mm), ensuring the bearing end face fits snugly against the shaft shoulder. After heat-fitting the retainer, diagonally tighten the screws (torque 12-15 N・m). Pre-compress the spring by 3 mm for pre-tensioning.

Inspection: The bearing rotates freely without jamming, with axial movement ≤0.05 mm, no seal leakage, and the retainer is not loose.
