Installation and Maintenance Points:

Clean the tappet journal and bearing mounting position. Check the bearing for broken needle rollers, deformed outer rings, and an intact dust cover. The journal surface roughness Ra ≤ 0.8 μm, and roundness ≤ 0.002 mm.

Use a special tool (075-2349) to press the bearing into the tappet mounting position with a pressing force ≤ 2 kN, ensuring a tight and secure fit between the bearing and tappet.

After installation, check that the tappet reciprocates smoothly without jamming, that the contact pressure with the camshaft is uniform, that the fuel pump operates without abnormal noise or leakage, and that the tappet axial movement is ≤ 0.02 mm.

Maintenance: Check the bearing needle roller wear every 2000 hours (replace when radial wear ≥ 0.004 mm). Regularly change the engine oil and fuel filter to prevent impurities from entering and causing bearing failure.
