Installation: One piece is provided for each bearing. Installed in the inner shaft groove of the bearing, the retaining ring is pried open and embedded in the groove with retaining ring pliers to ensure a snug fit between the retaining ring and the bearing end face without axial loosening.

Installation and Maintenance Points:

Clean the shaft groove and retaining ring. Check the retaining ring for deformation, cracks, and wear on the opening. Ensure the shaft groove is free of burrs and rust, and that the groove width matches the retaining ring thickness.

Use special retaining ring pliers to pry open the retaining ring and insert it into the shaft groove, ensuring the retaining ring is fully seated and tightly fitted against the bearing inner ring end face without axial movement.

After installation, check that the retaining ring does not come out, the bearing rotates freely without jamming, and the axial clearance meets requirements, ensuring reliable bearing positioning.

Maintenance: Check the retaining ring’s elasticity and groove fit every 1000 hours. Replace the retaining ring if the elasticity fails or the groove wears. Reusing a deformed or enlarged retaining ring after disassembly is strictly prohibited to prevent positioning failure and bearing malfunction.
