Matching Installation: One piece is provided for each bearing. During installation, embed the piece into the shaft groove, ensuring it fits snugly against the inner ring end face of the bearing. No bolts are required; the Cat is secured by elasticity.

Installation and Maintenance Points:
Clean the retainer and shaft groove. Check the retainer for deformation, cracks, and corrosion. Measure the inner diameter, thickness, and shaft groove dimensions to ensure tolerance matching.

Use special snap ring pliers to open the retainer opening, embed it into the mounting groove on the shaft, and release the snap ring pliers. The retainer will automatically spring back and lock in place. Check for a seamless fit with the bearing inner ring.

After installation, rotate the bearing. It should rotate freely without jamming. Axial runout ≤ 0.05 mm, radial runout ≤ 0.08 mm, and there should be no abnormal noise.

Maintenance: Check the retainer’s elasticity and wear every 1000 hours. Replace if deformation, corrosion, or wear > 0.1 mm is found. Use special snap ring pliers for disassembly; do not pry forcefully to avoid breaking the retainer.
