CAT 077-8314 is a Caterpillar genuine U-shaped clamp-type pipe fastener (pure original factory information, no additional description), used for fixing and positioning hydraulic oil pipes, air pipes, or wiring harnesses in engineering machinery to prevent loosening due to vibration. It is suitable for medium and low pressure pipeline and wiring layout scenarios.
Core Parameters and Information
Item Details
Part Model: CAT 077-8314 (0778314) Line Holder/Clamp
Structure Type: U-shaped clamp + rubber liner, with M6 hex bolts, anti-loosening washers, anti-slip teeth on the liner
Material: Clamp is galvanized carbon steel, liner is nitrile rubber (NBR), bolt is 4.8 grade carbon steel
Key Dimensions: Applicable pipe diameter 16-18 mm, clamp width 12 mm, bolt length 18 mm, mounting hole spacing 32 mm
Performance Parameters: Tightening torque 8-10 N・m, temperature resistance -40℃ to +100℃, rubber liner hardness 60±5 Shore A, clamp tensile strength ≥300 MPa
Compatibility Standard: Complies with SAE J1610 pipeline fixing specification, salt spray test ≥72 h, rubber corrosion resistance (hydraulic oil/diesel)
Matching Relationship Secured with bolts, the rubber liner dampens vibrations. Compatible with standard mounting brackets, single-hole or double-hole mounting is available.
Compatible Machines and Applications
Compatible Equipment: CAT 312/320 series excavators, 950/966 series loaders, 416/420 series mini loaders, etc.
Applications: For fixing cab, engine compartment, and chassis piping/wiring harnesses, especially suitable for high-frequency vibration areas, such as hydraulic pump outlet piping and travel motor wiring harnesses.
Installation: One piece is provided at each mounting point, compatible with M6 bolts and anti-loosening washers, and installed on pre-set brackets or welded bases.
Installation and Maintenance Points: Clean the mounting surface and piping. Inspect the clamps and rubber liner for cracks/damage, and confirm pipe diameter compatibility.
Place the piping into the rubber liner, align the clamps with the mounting holes, and tighten the bolts with a torque wrench to 8-10 N·m, ensuring the piping is secure and the liner is not deformed.
Post-installation inspection: The piping and lining fit tightly without displacement, the clamps do not interfere, and the bolts are effectively prevented from loosening.
Maintenance: Check bolt torque and lining wear every 500 hours; replace the lining if it is aged/damaged or the clamps are corroded to prevent pipe wear and leakage.
