Core Parameters and Information
Item Details
Part Model: CAT 077-8451 (0778451) Spring Band Clip/Line Retainer
Structure Type: Boltless spring clip with anti-slip toothed liner, one-piece molded opening design, radial elastic clamping
Material: Clip is 65Mn spring steel, galvanized and passivated; liner is neoprene rubber (CR)
Key Dimensions: Applicable pipe diameter 12-14 mm, clip width 10 mm, free inner diameter 11.5 mm, unfolded diameter 28 mm, thickness 0.8 mm
Performance Parameters: Radial clamping force 30-50 N, temperature resistance -35℃ to +100℃, rubber liner hardness 55±5 Shore A, salt spray test ≥96 h
Compatibility Standard: Complies with SAE J1610 pipe fixing specifications, compatible with CAT standard pipe layout, flame retardant rating complies with SAE J369
Matching Relationship Directly snaps into the pipe, adapts to pre-set mounting slots or brackets, no bolts required, independent single-point fixation.
Compatible Models and Application Scenarios
Compatible Equipment: CAT 307/308 mini excavators, 226B/236B skid steer loaders, 420/430 mini loaders, etc.
Application Scenarios: Engine compartment and chassis pipe/wiring harness branch fixation, especially suitable for areas with limited space and inconvenient bolt installation, such as hydraulic circuit branches, sensor harnesses, etc.
Matching Installation: One piece is provided at each fixing point, which can be used with CAT 077-8314 U-type clamps to form layered pipe fixation.
Installation and Maintenance Points
Clean the pipe surface and mounting slot, check that the clamps are not deformed and the inner lining is not damaged, and confirm that the pipe diameter matches.
Use clamp pliers to open the clamps, slip them onto the pipe and snap them into the mounting slot, release the pliers, and ensure that the clamps and pipes are tightly fitted.
Post-installation inspection: No axial displacement of the pipeline, no loose clamps, no detachment of the liner, and no interference with other components.
Maintenance: Check the elasticity of the clamps and the wear of the liner every 500 hours; replace the clamps when they fail or the liner ages to prevent pipeline vibration and wear.
