CAT 077-8807 is a Caterpillar original drive board (pure original, accurate information, no additional description). It is a transmission connection component at the end of the fan drive shaft, used to transmit torque and position the drive for installation. It is suitable for small to medium-sized power and transmission systems, and is bolted for fastening. It is suitable for low to medium speed and medium load conditions.
Core Parameters and Information
Item Details
Part Model: CAT 077-8807 (0778807) Drive Plate
Structure Type: Disc-type rigid drive plate with a central positioning hole, circumferentially distributed mounting holes, torque transmission tooth profile, adaptable to shaft end flange connection
Material: 42CrMo alloy steel, surface hardened + blackened treatment, conforms to CAT MES J4202 drive plate specification
Key Dimensions: Outer diameter 120 mm, inner diameter 30 mm, thickness 10 mm, positioning hole diameter 30 mm, number of mounting holes 6, mounting hole diameter 8 mm, hole spacing circle diameter 100 mm, tooth module 2.5 mm, number of teeth 24
Performance Parameters: Rated torque transmission 150 N・m, operating temperature -40℃ to +150℃, flatness ≤0.05 mm, runout ≤0.1 mm, hardness HRC38-42
Compatibility Standard: Compatible with SAE J620 shaft end connection standard, positioning hole compatible with CAT 077-8727 bearings.
Compatibility: Compatible with CAT 307/308 excavators, 226B skid steer loaders, 3054 engines, etc., and can be used with CAT 077-8717 bearing retainers and 077-8701 retainers.
Compatible Models and Application Scenarios:
Compatible Equipment: CAT 307/308 mini excavators, 226B/236B skid steer loaders, 3054/3056 engines, hydraulic pump/motor end covers, gearbox output shaft ends, etc.
Application Scenarios: Fan drive shaft torque transmission, water pump shaft end drive connection, generator shaft end drive, hydraulic pump drive shaft connection, etc., especially suitable for power transmission systems requiring reliable torque transmission and positioning.
Matching Installation: Secured to the shaft end with bolts. Used with 077-8727 bearing, 077-8717 bearing retainer, and 077-8701 retainer. Axial clearance after installation should be ≤0.1 mm.
Installation and Maintenance Points: Clean the shaft end, drive plate, and mounting bolts. Check the drive plate for deformation and cracks, ensure the shaft end dimensions match the drive plate, and confirm the mounting holes are intact.
Align the drive plate positioning holes with the shaft end and tighten the bolts in a crisscross pattern. The torque should meet the requirements of the equipment manual (generally 35-45 N·m).
Post-Installation Inspection: The drive plate should be free of looseness and wobbling. Rotating parts should not interfere with each other, and torque transmission should be normal.
Maintenance: Check the drive plate bolt torque and wear every 1000 hours. Replace the drive plate promptly if it is deformed or the teeth are worn to prevent equipment malfunction due to torque transmission failure.
