Application Scenarios: Installed between the drive end seat ring and the drive shaft, it uses elastic clamping force and anti-slip teeth to prevent circumferential slippage and axial movement of the seat ring during power transmission. Suitable for medium-to-high speed and variable load conditions.
For use with: Compatible with 078-5254 locking collar and 078-6636 seat ring, used for positioning and fixing the drive end seat ring to prevent loosening that could cause vibration, abnormal noise, and component damage (Cat®…).
Installation and maintenance points:
Clean the surface of the seat ring and drive shaft, checking for burrs and rust. The clearance between the seat ring inner diameter and shaft diameter should be 0.02-0.05 mm.
Align the strap opening with the seat ring positioning groove and tighten it using a special tool with a torque of 8-10 N·m, ensuring the anti-slip teeth are properly engaged.
Post-installation inspection:
Axial pulling of the seat ring should not cause any movement; circumferential rotation should not cause slippage; a 30-minute test run should show no abnormal vibration or noise; a final check after shutdown confirms no looseness.
Maintenance: Check the elasticity and buckle condition of the strap every 500 hours. Replace it when the elasticity deformation exceeds 0.2 mm or the buckle is loose. Check the wear of the anti-slip teeth every 1000 hours. Replace it when the wear exceeds 0.3 mm.
