CAT 081-4941 is a Caterpillar genuine wear-resistant steel bushing for construction machinery (0814941). It is compatible with the boom pins, stick connecting pins, or hydraulic cylinder lugs of the 306E2/307E2 excavators and 226B3/236B3 skid steer loaders. It is used to bear radial loads and reduce frictional wear between the pins and supports, and is suitable for outdoor, dusty, and vibrating conditions.
Core Parameters and Information
Item Details
Part Model: CAT 081-4941 (0814941) Wear-resistant Steel Bushing
Type: Wear-resistant steel bushing for engineering machinery, with oil grooves
Material: 42CrMo alloy steel, surface hardened + nitrided, hardness HRC58-62
Key Dimensions: Inner diameter 35mm, outer diameter 45mm, length 40mm, number of oil grooves: 2, chamfer r1mm
Performance Parameters: Rated radial load 25kN, operating temperature -40℃ to +120℃, coefficient of friction ≤0.1 (lubricated state)
Compatible Models: 306E2/307E2 excavators, 226B3/236B3 skid steer loaders
Matching Relationship: Used with matching pins, seals, and grease fittings
Applications
Compatible Equipment: 306E2/307E2 mini excavators, 226B3/236B3 This Cat® component is used in skid steer loaders to support radial loads in components such as the boom-stick connection pins, stick-bucket connection pins, and hydraulic cylinder lugs. It reduces friction between the pins and supports, preventing vibration, noise, and wear caused by excessive clearance.
Applications: Suitable for medium to high loads, medium to low speeds, and reciprocating oscillating conditions, such as boom pin support during excavation and stick connection pin positioning during loading. It is adaptable to complex working conditions such as dust, humidity, and vibration, extending the service life of the pins and supports.
Compatible components: Used with pins, seals, and grease fittings. After installation, ensure adequate lubrication and reliable sealing to prevent dust and moisture from entering the mating surfaces of the bushings and pins. Installation and Maintenance Points
Installation: Clean the bushing mounting hole and pin surface. Install using cold pressing or hot fitting (heating to 80-100℃), ensuring an interference fit between the bushing and the mounting hole (interference 0.02-0.05mm). After installation, check that the oil groove and grease fitting are aligned.
Maintenance: Every 100 hours, add lithium-based grease through the grease fitting. Check the clearance between the bushing and pin (≤0.2mm). Replace immediately if excessive clearance or abnormal wear is found.
Replacement: Use a dedicated puller to remove the old bushing. Install the new part in the original position, ensuring the oil groove is unobstructed. Replace the sealing ring simultaneously to prevent leakage.
