CAT 081-5216 is a Caterpillar original single-row cylindrical roller bearing, suitable for the drive systems of wheel loaders, excavators, and other equipment. The following is purely accurate information (without additional description): Cat®…
Core Parameters and Information
Item Details
Part Model: CAT 081-5216 Single-row Cylindrical Roller Bearing
Part Type: Single-row cylindrical roller bearing (NU type, separable inner ring), suitable for gearboxes, differentials, wheel hubs, etc., withstands radial loads, allows axial displacement of the shaft relative to the bearing housing
Material: Chromium-molybdenum alloy steel (SAE 52100), integrally hardened, hardness HRC60-64, raceway surface roughness Ra≤0.4μm, core hardness HRC30-45
Key Dimensions: Inner diameter 100.00mm (3.9370in), outer diameter 150.00mm (5.9055in), width 35.00mm (1.3780in), chamfered 1.5×45°, tolerance k6
Structural Features: Unflanged inner ring, separable design, compatible with NU series cylindrical roller bearings, rated dynamic load 125kN, rated static load 150kN, operating temperature -40℃ to 120℃
Compatible Structures: Loader gearbox axle bearings, excavator differential bearings, wheel hub bearings, interference fit 0.018-0.028mm
Applicable Working Conditions: Heavy-duty transmission components, speed ≤3500rpm, radial load ≤80kN, suitable for impact loads, suitable for oil lubrication conditions
Compatible Machines and Assemblies:
Loaders: CAT 938M, 950M (gearbox axle bearing assembly)
Excavators: CAT 320D, 323D (differential bearing assembly)
Graders: CAT 140M, 160M (wheel hub bearing assembly)
Compatible Assemblies: 938M Transmission Shaft Bearing Assembly, 320D Differential Bearing Assembly
Installation and Fitting Points:
The shaft diameter should be clean and free of burrs. Heated installation (oil temperature 80-100℃) or cold-pressed installation is recommended. Interference fit should be 0.018-0.028mm. Do not strike the inner ring to avoid damage to the raceway.
Before installation, check the raceway for pitting and scratches. Inner diameter roundness ≤0.005mm, end face runout ≤0.01mm.
After assembly, the inner ring should not rotate relative to the shaft, and its coaxiality with the outer ring should be ≤0.01mm. There should be no jamming or abnormal noise during operation.
For disassembly, use a puller to remove the inner ring. Do not pry the inner ring. When replacing, replace the entire set including the inner ring, outer ring, and roller cage to ensure a precise fit.
