CAT 090-9624 (0909624) is a Caterpillar genuine composite bushing (steel back + wear-resistant layer) for articulation points on construction machinery. It is compatible with the articulation points of the working devices of 259D3/279D3 skid steer loaders and 906H/907H mini excavators. It is used in conjunction with 088-6188 bearings, 090-5965 retainers, and 090-9289 retaining rings to reduce wear and provide positioning between the pin and mounting hole, buffering impact and vibration, and ensuring smooth operation of the articulated parts. Core Parameters and Information

Item Details
Part Model: CAT 090-9624 (0909624) Composite Bushing

Type: Steel-backed composite bushing for engineering machinery (steel back + PTFE / bronze wear-resistant layer)

Material: Low-carbon steel back + sintered bronze powder + PTFE self-lubricating layer, wear-resistant, self-lubricating, corrosion-resistant

Key Dimensions: Inner diameter φ60mm, outer diameter φ70mm, length 50mm, wall thickness 5mm, tolerance GB/T 12613.1 – 2019

Compatible Models: CAT 259D3/279D3 skid steer loaders, 906H/907H mini excavators

Matching Relationships: Compatible with 088-6188 bearings, 090-5965 retainers, 090-9289 retaining rings, 087-1873 Dust ring accessories for articulation point assemblies.

Suitable for:
Screen and frame joints, connecting rods and boom joints on skid steer loaders and mini excavators. Installed between the pin and mounting hole, it provides support and reduces wear on the pin, buffers impacts and vibrations, and ensures flexible and stable operation of the articulated parts.

Application scenarios: Outdoor operations such as excavation and loading. Suitable for high-frequency vibration, variable load, and dusty conditions. The self-lubricating layer reduces friction loss, extends the service life of pins and bushings, and reduces maintenance frequency and costs.

Core functions: Wear reduction, positioning, and buffering. Suitable for high-frequency vibration and variable load conditions. Ensures stable operation of articulated parts. Self-lubricating properties reduce lubrication requirements, simplify maintenance procedures, and improve equipment operating efficiency.

Installation and Maintenance Points

Installation: Clean the mounting hole and pin, and check the bushing for damage; use a pressing tool to smoothly press it into the mounting hole, ensuring no misalignment. After pressing, it should fit tightly against the mounting hole without looseness; install it in conjunction with the bearing, retainer, retaining ring, and dust ring to ensure accurate axial positioning and smooth, unobstructed operation.

Maintenance: Check the bushing for wear, cracks, or looseness every 200 hours; replace it immediately if any abnormalities are found to prevent damage to components caused by direct friction between the pin and the mounting hole.

Replacement: Remove the old bushing with a special tool and check the wear condition of the mounting hole; verify the dimensions before installing the new bushing, and test the hinge area after pressing to confirm there are no abnormal noises or jamming.
