CAT 093-6071 (0936071) is a dedicated bearing cover for Caterpillar 700GT track assemblies. It provides end-face sealing and protection for track pin/needle roller bearings, is compatible with medium-duty excavator track systems, and prevents dust and mud intrusion, protecting the bearings and extending their service life (Cat® Parts).
Core Parameters and Information
Item Details
Part Model: CAT 093-6071 (0936071) Bearing Cover (Track Pin Bearing End Cover)
Type: Dedicated bearing cover for track assembly, bearing end face seal and protection, prevents foreign object intrusion, dustproof and waterproof
Material: Ductile iron (QT500-7), surface painted, high strength, impact resistance, wear resistance, corrosion resistance
Key Dimensions: Outer diameter approx. 65mm, inner diameter approx. 48mm, thickness approx. 12mm, single weight approx. 0.6kg, compatible with 700GT track pins / bearing end faces
Compatible Models: CAT 312, 313, 315 and other medium-sized excavators (compatible with 700GT track assembly)
Matching Relationship: Compatible with 093-5133 needle roller bearings, 093-6046 inner retaining rings, and track pins; 1 piece per track pin. One unit, installed on the track pin end face.
Adaptation and Application
Adaptation Location: Track pin bearing end face of the 700GT track assembly. Used to seal the bearing, prevent dust and mud from entering, protect bearing lubrication and operation, and assist in fixing the inner retaining ring and needle roller bearing to prevent component loosening.
Application Scenarios: Medium-sized earthmoving excavation, municipal engineering, road construction, etc. Adapted to the 700GT track assembly to ensure track system stability and reduce bearing wear and failure.
Core Functions: Sealing the bearing end face, preventing foreign matter and moisture intrusion, protecting bearing lubrication, extending bearing life, assisting in fixing track pin-related components, and improving track system reliability.
Installation and Maintenance Points
Installation: Clean the bearing cover and track pin end face, checking for cracks and deformation; apply sealant (such as Loctite 518), align with the mounting hole, and tighten with bolts (torque approximately 30-40 N·m), ensuring a tight seal and no leakage.
Maintenance: Check the tightness of the bearing cap bolts and the sealing surface for leakage and wear every 100-200 hours. Address any loosening, leakage, or damage promptly, and replace if necessary.
Replacement: When replacing, simultaneously check the bearings, inner retaining rings, and track pins for wear. Use original parts whenever possible. After installation, test the track operation for any abnormal noises or leaks.
