The CAT 094-4850 is a Caterpillar original equipment manufacturer (OEM) standard double-tooth track shoe for the 610GT track system. It has a 190mm pitch and a 610mm width, suitable for small to medium-sized excavators and bulldozers. It balances wear resistance with maneuverability, and is suitable for low-to-medium impact applications such as earthmoving and municipal engineering. It is a chassis wear part and is compatible with the 093 series track shoes on the same platform.

Item Details
Part Model: CAT 094-4850 (0944850) Double Grouser Track Shoe (610GT Track System)
Material and Process: Rolled boron alloy steel + integral quenching, hardness HB380–420, hardened layer ≥8mm; Surface: CAT yellow primer + anti-corrosion coating, salt spray ≥480h
Structure Specifications: Double Grouser, standard hole positions, non-self-cleaning/non-offset; compatible with 190mm pitch, track shoe width 610mm; comes with 2 sets of track bolts and nuts (recommended 9W-3361/6Y-0846)
Single Weight: Approx. 30.2 kg (66.6 lbs)
Rated Operating Conditions: Moderate impact, non-abrasive environment; check wear/bolt torque every 500 hours
Compatible Models: Compatible with CAT This product is suitable for small and medium-sized excavators such as the 312 and 313, D4/D5 series bulldozers, and 610GT track systems. Final verification is based on both chassis serial number and mounting hole spacing.
Installation Parameters: Bolt specifications 1/2″-20 UNF, installation torque 380–420 N・m, tightened in two crisscrossing stages.
Compatibility and Application Points:
Functional Positioning: The dual-tooth design results in low steering resistance, suitable for frequent turning scenarios. It provides stable ground support and traction, protects track links, and is suitable for municipal and pipeline construction conditions.
Matching Specifications: Replace track plates in pairs from the same batch. Do not mix plates of different materials/thicknesses. Tighten bolts in two crisscrossing stages at 380–420 N・m. Recheck torque after warming up the machine to prevent loosening.
Replacement Standards: Tooth wear > 40%, plate cracks, hole deformation / Replace track plates immediately if they are stripped or the hardened layer has peeled off; do not weld cracked plates for repair.
Installation and Maintenance Procedure: Stop the machine on a level, hard surface. Support the machine body, loosen the track tension cylinder, and remove the old track plates.
Clean the mounting surfaces of the track links and the bolt holes of the new plates, removing rust and oil.
Tighten the bolts twice in a crisscross pattern using a torque wrench (initially 70% torque, final tightening 100%).
Restore track tension, drive the machine unloaded for 10 minutes, and then recheck the torque.
Maintenance Cycle: 500 hours under standard operating conditions; 300 hours under high dust/humid conditions. Inspect tooth surface wear, plate cracks, and bolt anti-loosening marks.
