Item Details
Part Model CAT 094-5729 (0945729) Hydraulic Cooler
Type: Plate-fin hydraulic oil cooler, integrating inlet/outlet ports and mounting flanges, suitable for hydraulic circuit return/bypass cooling
Material: Main core is made of brazed aluminum alloy, end caps are made of cast aluminum, inlet/outlet ports are made of stainless steel, pressure resistance ≥3.5MPa, high heat dissipation efficiency, lightweight
Key Dimensions: Length approx. 650mm, width approx. 420mm, height approx. 180mm, port specification DN40 (flange connection), heat dissipation area approx. 8.5㎡, single weight approx. 28kg
Compatible Models: CAT 320, 323, 326 excavators, 950, 962 wheel loaders, suitable for C7.1/C9 engine hydraulic systems
Performance Parameters: Rated cooling power approx. 12kW, oil flow rate adaptable to 100-150L/min, operating temperature – 20℃ to 120℃, maximum pressure resistance 3.5MPa
Suitable for:
Hydraulic system return oil circuit or independent cooling circuit, connected in series before the hydraulic oil tank to reduce return oil temperature and protect components such as pumps, valves, and motors.
Applications: Medium to heavy-duty operations such as earthmoving, road construction, and mining; suitable for small to medium-sized hydraulic equipment to prevent oil deterioration and seal failure due to excessive oil temperature.
Core Function: Controls hydraulic oil temperature within the optimal range of 80-90℃, extending the life of the oil and seals, and improving the response speed and operating efficiency of the hydraulic system.
Installation and Maintenance:
Installation: Clean the oil port and flange face, install the matching O-ring, and tighten the flange bolts diagonally (torque approximately 60-80 N·m) to ensure no leakage; vent air after installation to avoid air resistance affecting heat dissipation.
Maintenance: Check the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet oil ports every 500 hours (normally ≤0.3MPa). If the differential pressure is too high, the core needs to be cleaned. Regularly check the cleanliness of the fins and clean dust and oil stains with compressed air or high-pressure water (reverse direction). Disassemble and inspect internal scale annually, and clean with a special cleaning agent if necessary.
Replacement: Use original parts first. Verify the model and oil port/installation dimensions. After replacement, test for stable oil temperature (≤90℃), no leakage, and no abnormal noise.
