CAT 094-7543 (0947543) is a dedicated axial retainer for Caterpillar hydraulic pump/motor end covers. It is used to lock the end cover to the bearing housing, preventing loosening and axial movement caused by vibration. It is suitable for the hydraulic/transmission systems of medium and large excavators and loaders, ensuring sealing and stable operation.
Core Parameters
Item Details
Part Model: CAT 094-7543 (0947543) Axial Fixture
Type: Axial locking fixture for hydraulic pump/motor end cover, preventing loosening and axial movement
Material: 42CrMo alloy steel, tempered and heat-treated, surface anodized black + Dacromet coating, tensile strength ≥1080MPa, impact resistant, corrosion resistant
Key Dimensions: Diameter approx. 60mm, length approx. 85mm, thread specification M56×2, single weight approx. 2.8kg, suitable for corresponding mounting holes
Compatible Models: CAT 330, 336 excavators, 972, 980 loaders, suitable for hydraulic pumps/slewing motors of C9.3, C13 engines
Matching Relationship: Commonly used with end covers, gaskets, and anti-loosening nuts; single component uses 2-4 Symmetrical Installation and Locking
Suitable for: Hydraulic pump rear end cover, rotary motor end cover, gearbox input shaft end cover. Locking end covers prevent vibration-induced loosening, ensures sealing and lubrication, and avoids oil leakage and component wear.
Application Scenarios: Suitable for severe vibration conditions such as mining, large-scale earthmoving, and heavy-duty hoisting. Suitable for medium to large equipment power systems, improving operational stability and safety.
Core Functions: Provides high-strength axial locking, counteracting vibration and impact loads, preventing bolt loosening and axial movement of components, protecting seals and bearings, extending component life, and reducing maintenance frequency.
Installation and Maintenance Points:
Installation: Clean threads and mounting holes, apply CAT special anti-loosening adhesive, and tighten in diagonal sequence 2-3 times to the specified torque (approximately 480-520 N·m), ensuring a tight fit without gaps. After fixing, check for looseness and axial movement.
Maintenance: Check the tightness and coating integrity every 300 hours. Tighten immediately and reapply anti-loosening adhesive if loose. Regularly check for abnormal noises and temperatures in related components; disassemble and repair if abnormalities are found.
Replacement: Prioritize original parts. Verify model and dimensions. After installation, test the power system to ensure it operates normally, without abnormal noises, leaks, or looseness.
