CAT 095-7137 is a steel single/double tooth track shoe adapted for the 760GT heavy-duty tracked chassis, used in mining heavy-duty machines such as the 395/374/352/349 excavators and 988/982 large loaders. Its core functions are to transmit traction, support the weight of the machine, and protect the track links and track rollers. It provides strong traction and wear resistance in gravel/hard soil/mining conditions, and is a core load-bearing and grounding component of the tracked walking system. It is often used in conjunction with track pins, track bushings, bolts and nuts, and track shoe wear blocks.
Core Parameter Table
Item Details
Part Model CAT 095-7137 (0957137) Track Shoe (760GT Track System Dedicated)
Material High-hardness boron alloy structural steel (Cat Grade Boron Steel), integral quenching + tempering, surface hardness HRC52-58, good core toughness, impact resistance, and wear resistance
Structure Type One-piece track shoe with standard drive teeth/guide bosses, bolt-fastened type, compatible with 760mm track width, pitch matching 760GT track links
Compatible Models CAT 349, 352, 374, 395 excavators; 982, 988 wheel loaders (760GT track chassis configuration)
Rated Load Single track shoe rated load ≥15 tons, suitable for heavy-duty conditions with a total machine weight of 300+ tons
Connection Method Dedicated track bolts + Use lock nuts (original grade 10.9 recommended), torque as per the model manual; never use a pneumatic wrench to fully tighten them.
Compatibility and Application
Installation Location: On the outside of the track link, fixed to the track connecting rod with bolts to form the track ground contact surface; works in conjunction with track pins, bushings, track rollers, idlers, and tension cylinders (including 095-7124 slip shoes, 095-6848 inner retaining rings, etc.).
Scenarios: Heavy-duty, high-frequency impact conditions such as mines, large-scale infrastructure projects, and open-pit mining; prevents track slippage and derailment, protects track links and the running gear, and improves operational efficiency.
Core Functions: Ground contact and load-bearing, traction transmission, gripping and anti-slip, protection of internal track components, and reduction of direct ground wear and impact damage.
Installation and Maintenance Points
Installation: Thoroughly clean the mating surfaces of the track shoes and chain links, removing rust, oil, and gravel; install new anti-loosening washers, and tighten the bolts in stages according to the specified torque (it is recommended to achieve the final torque in 2-3 stages); never use an emery wrench to apply full torque at once to avoid thread deformation or track shoe deformation; after installation, check the flatness of the track shoes for warping.
Maintenance Cycle: Under standard operating conditions, check the track shoe bolt torque, wear, and cracks every 1000 hours; shorten this to 500 hours under mining/gravel operating conditions, and increase the frequency of checks during rainy/muddy conditions.
Replacement Criteria:
① Track shoe wear at the contact surface exceeds 30% of the original thickness;
② Drive teeth are cracked or have broken pieces;
③ Track shoes have through cracks or deformation > 2mm;
④ Bolt holes are deformed or stripped beyond repair; prioritize replacing with original parts, as non-original parts are prone to premature wear or breakage due to insufficient material/hardness, leading to track derailment.
