CAT 095-9416 (0959416) is a track tensioner cylinder retainer for the 760GT tracked chassis. It features a ring-shaped stepped structure and is used to axially lock the 095-8931 ball bearing and 095-9380 spring seat within the track tensioner cylinder, preventing axial movement of the components. It is compatible with models such as the 395/374/352/349 excavators and 988/982 loaders. Together with the 095-7947 retainer and 095-8510 retainer, it ensures stable operation of the track tensioning system.

Key Dimensions Inner diameter approx. 95mm, outer diameter approx. 120mm, thickness approx. 15mm, positioning shoulder height approx. 5mm, precisely matched with 095-8931 bearing outer ring and 095-9380 spring seat
Compatible Models CAT 349, 352, 374, 395 excavators; 982, 988 loaders (760GT tracked chassis configuration)
Functional Positioning Axial locking bearing and spring seat restrict axial movement. Secured with a 095-7947 retaining ring, it ensures the coaxiality and stability of the tensioning cylinder components and protects the seals.
**Compatibility and Applications:**
Installation Location: Inside the guide cylinder of the track tensioning cylinder, between the 095-8931 ball bearing and the 095-9380 spring seat. The inner ring locating shoulder fits against the outer ring end face of the bearing, and the outer ring flange mates with the guide cylinder locating groove. Locked by the 095-7947 retaining ring, it prevents axial displacement of the bearing and spring seat.
**Application Scenarios:** Heavy-duty, high-frequency impact conditions such as mining and infrastructure construction. It withstands the axial load and vibration during track tensioning, preventing component movement that could lead to seal wear, track tension fluctuations, and track misalignment.
**Core Functions:** Axial locking bearing and spring seat restricts axial movement. Combined with other fixing components, it ensures component installation accuracy, reduces friction loss, and extends the service life of the cylinder and seals.
**Application Scenarios:** Installation and Maintenance Points
Installation: Clean the guide tube, retainer, bearing, and spring seat mounting surfaces. Inspect the shoulder and flange for damage.
Insert the retainer into the guide tube, positioning the shoulder towards the bearing. Insert the 095-8931 bearing, install the 095-9380 spring seat, and lock the retainer with the 095-7947 retainer ring, ensuring no looseness or misalignment.
Test the extension and retraction of the tension cylinder, checking for any abnormal noise from the retainer and ensuring stable tension.
Maintenance Cycle: Under standard operating conditions, check the retainer for wear, shoulder deformation, and clearance with the bearing/spring seat every 1000 hours. For mining conditions, shorten this to 500 hours. Address any abnormalities immediately.
Replacement Criteria: Replace the retainer if shoulder wear >1mm, flange deformation/fracture, surface cracks, clearance with bearing >0.5mm, or if the component cannot be locked. Use original parts first to avoid dimensional deviations that could cause component movement or cylinder damage.
