CAT 210-7782 is a Caterpillar genuine single-row tapered roller bearing (including inner ring/outer ring/roller assembly), commonly used in the drive axle, final drive, or gearbox output shaft of loaders and excavators. It is compatible with CAT 966H/972H loaders, 336D/349D excavators, and other models. It can withstand radial and bidirectional axial combined loads, is suitable for heavy-duty and impact conditions, and ensures smooth operation of transmission components.

Item Details
Part Model: CAT 210-7782 Single Row Tapered Roller Bearing, Original Part Number 2107782, no official direct replacement model. For non-original parts, refer to the same specification single row tapered roller bearing (e.g., TIMKEN 33217).
Material: Inner ring/outer ring/rolling elements are made of high carbon chromium bearing steel (GCr15), hardness after quenching HRC 60-64, surface phosphated for corrosion protection; cage is made of stamped steel plate; seal is made of nitrile rubber (NBR), oil resistant and temperature resistant from -40℃ to 120℃.
Key Dimensions: Inner diameter 85mm, outer diameter 150mm, width 36mm, number of rollers 14, roller diameter 14mm, taper 1:12, conforms to ISO 355 standard, suitable for journal diameter 85mm, clearance 0.03-0.08mm.
Compatible Models: CAT 966H/972H loaders, 336D/349D excavators, and D7R bulldozers use this type of bearing for the drive axle main reducer, final drive planetary carrier support, and gearbox output shaft bearing position. It is suitable for heavy-duty, high-speed, and impact conditions.
Performance Characteristics: Radial rated load 165kN, axial rated load 95kN, limiting speed 3200r/min, operating temperature -40℃ to 120℃, NBR seals for dust and water resistance, suitable for harsh working conditions in construction machinery, reducing transmission system vibration and noise.
Core Functions and Structure:
Composite Load Bearing: The tapered roller structure can simultaneously bear radial and bidirectional axial loads, suitable for drive axles, final drives, and other composite stress components, preventing axial movement of parts and ensuring transmission accuracy and stability.
High-Efficiency Transmission: High-carbon chromium bearing steel and precision roller design reduce friction loss, improve transmission efficiency, are suitable for high-speed conditions, reduce equipment energy consumption, and extend the service life of transmission components.
(Cat) Sealing Protection: Nitrile rubber seals effectively prevent dust and moisture intrusion, prevent grease leakage, and are suitable for dusty and humid outdoor working conditions, reducing bearing wear and failure, and lowering maintenance frequency.
Installation and Maintenance Points
Installation Specifications: Clean the inner and outer rings of the bearing, the journal, and the bearing housing bore to remove oil and metal shavings. Check that the bearing is free of cracks, the rollers are undamaged, and the seals are not aged. Ensure the journal and bearing housing bore dimensions meet tolerances (interference 0.01-0.02mm).
Hot Fitting Method: Heat the bearing to 80-100℃ (do not exceed 120℃), quickly slide it onto the journal, and gently tap it into place with a copper hammer. After cooling, check for a tight fit without looseness.
Adjusting Axial Clearance: Control the axial clearance to 0.03-0.08mm using adjusting shims, ensuring smooth rotation without jamming.
Maintenance Recommendations:
Check the bearings every 800 working hours for abnormal noises, normal temperature (≤80℃), and leaks in the seals. Replace the bearings immediately if the rollers are worn or the seals are damaged.
Regularly add CAT 2K-7000 lithium-based grease every 400 working hours, filling the bearing to 1/3-1/2 of its volume. Avoid excessive grease, which can cause overheating.
