Installation and Maintenance Points: Before installation, clean the journal (surface roughness Ra≤0.4 μm, no scratches/burrs) and bearing housing bore. Use a special sleeve to press in evenly, with a pressing force ≤10 kN. Do not strike the outer ring. The journal needs heat treatment (HB 220–260), surface hardness ≥HRC 45 (hardened layer ≥1.5 mm).
Clearance Control: After pressing in, use a plug gauge to measure the clearance between the needle roller inscribed circle and the shaft diameter, ensuring 0.02–0.04 mm. If the clearance exceeds the tolerance, repair the journal (grinding/chrome plating) or replace the bearing.
Lubrication Requirements: Apply lithium-based grease (NLGI Grade 2, with molybdenum disulfide additive) before installation. During operation, the oil lubrication pressure should be ≥60 kPa. Check oil quality/quantity every 800 hours to prevent wear debris accumulation.
Troubleshooting: If abnormal noise/temperature rise occurs, first check for damage to the dust lip, journal wear (>0.05 mm requires repair), or insufficient lubrication. If necessary, replace the bearing and clean the bearing housing to remove wear debris.
