The CAT 355-3930 is a genuine Caterpillar hydraulic breaker lower steel bushing used for guiding and reducing friction on the lower moving parts of the breaker, and for withstanding high-frequency impact loads. The following is raw data and does not include information on replacement parts.
Core Technical Parameters (Raw Data)
Item Details
Basic Attributes
Model 355-3930, Type: Hydraulic Breaker Lower Bushing, Material: 20CrMnTi Alloy Steel (Carburized and Quenched), Single Weight: 2.3 kg, Operating Temperature: -20℃ to +100℃, Fits Inner Diameter: 101.5 mm, 4 Lubrication Holes: 6 mm Diameter, Surface Hardness: HRC≥59
Key Dimensions (Metric/Imperial): Inner Diameter: 101.5 mm (4.00 in), Outer Diameter: 120.0 mm (4.72 in), Total Length: 150.0 mm (5.91 in), Wall Thickness: 9.25 mm, Chamfered Ends: 2×45°, Lubrication Holes: Evenly Distributed Around the Circumference
Performance Parameters
Carburized Layer Depth: 0.8-1.2 mm, Core Hardness: HRC 30-40, Tensile Strength: ≥1200 MPa, Impact Toughness: ≥80 J/cm², compatible with 101.5 mm piston diameter hydraulic breaker, compatible working pressure 0-18 MPa
Structure and Compatibility Characteristics
High-Frequency Impact Compatibility: Alloy steel carburized and quenched, high surface hardness and wear resistance, good core toughness, capable of withstanding high-frequency impact loads of the hydraulic breaker, extending service life.
Lubrication Design: Four evenly distributed lubrication holes ensure uniform distribution of lubricating oil, reducing friction of moving parts, reducing wear, and improving movement flexibility.
Machine Compatibility: Compatible with Caterpillar H210, H230, and other hydraulic breakers, used for guiding and supporting the lower piston and cylinder of the breaker; compatible with the hydraulic breaker system of excavators such as the 355.
Installation and Maintenance Points (Original Data)
Installation: Clean the inner and outer surfaces of the bushing and the mounting holes. The surface roughness of the mounting holes Ra≤0.8 μm, with an interference fit of 0.02-0.04 mm, ensuring no scratches or rust.
Use cold fitting (liquid nitrogen cooling) or press fitting methods, controlling the press fitting force to 50-80 kN to avoid bushing deformation. After installation, check that the end face runout is ≤0.05 mm.
After installation, add lithium-based grease (NLGI 2), ensuring the lubrication holes are unobstructed. Before starting, run the bushing under no-load for 5 minutes to check for any jamming in moving parts.
Maintenance: Check the bushing wear every 500 hours. Replace it immediately if the inner diameter wear is >0.5 mm.
Replenish grease regularly, checking the grease level every 100 hours to ensure adequate lubrication and prevent dry friction that could lead to bushing failure.
