CAT 369-1013 is a Caterpillar genuine steel-backed bronze composite lower bushing, suitable for suspension links, steering knuckles, or track frame articulation points of D9T/D10T bulldozers and 793D mining trucks. It is used to withstand radial loads and minor impacts under heavy-duty conditions. The following is a professional technical and application guide:
Core Technical Parameters (Professional Version)
Item Details
Basic Attributes
Model 369-1013, Type: Steel-backed bronze composite lower bushing (steel back + sintered bronze layer + PTFE self-lubricating layer), Suitable for the lower part of the track frame balance shaft of Cat D9T/D10T bulldozers, the lower part of the suspension links of 793D mining trucks, the lower articulation point of the boom of 992K loaders, and the lower part of the steering knuckle of 834B wheeled bulldozers. Material: Steel back (SAE 1045 carbon steel, 3 mm thick, tin-plated), bronze layer (CuSn8P bronze, 2 mm thick) mm, sintering process), self-lubricating layer (PTFE + lead, thickness 0.2 mm, porous impregnation), inner diameter φ85 mm (tolerance H7), outer diameter φ100 mm (tolerance js6), total length 80 mm, flange outer diameter φ110 mm, flange thickness 8 mm, single weight approximately 2.2 kg, rated radial load ≥180 kN, friction coefficient ≤0.08 (unlubricated initial state), operating temperature -40℃ to +120℃, lubrication method is self-lubricating + periodically replenished grease (NLGI 2 lithium-based grease), suitable for low-speed heavy-duty hinge parts with speed ≤50 rpm.
Key dimensions: inner diameter mating shaft diameter φ85 mm (journal surface hardness HRC 58-62, roughness Ra≤0.4 μm), outer diameter mating bore diameter φ100 mm (shell bore surface hardness HRC 56-60, roughness Ra≤0.6 μm), flange thickness 8 mm (tolerance H7 … ±0.1 mm), total length 80 mm (tolerance ±0.2 mm), radial clearance 0.05-0.08 mm, axial positioning groove width 10 mm (tolerance ±0.1 mm)
Material and Manufacturing Process: Steel backing treated with quenching and tempering (HB 220-250), bronze layer sintered with powder metallurgy, self-lubricating layer with porous structure for oil storage, stable friction coefficient, short-term operation under oil-free conditions (≤10 hours), bushing contact fatigue life ≥6000 hours (under rated load), impact load resistance ≥50 kN, repeat assembly accuracy ≤0.10 mm
Compatible Models: Cat D9T/D10T/D11T bulldozer track frame balance shaft lower part, 793D/785D mining truck suspension link lower part, 992K/988H loader boom lower hinge point, 834B/824B The lower part of the steering knuckle of a wheeled bulldozer is the core component used for the lower articulation support of heavy-duty equipment. It is suitable for radial loads ≥150 kN and speeds ≤50 rpm, replacing traditional pure bronze bushings to improve wear resistance and self-lubrication.
Assembly Fit: It has a clearance fit with the shaft (clearance 0.03-0.06 mm, for easy installation and positioning), and an interference fit with the housing bore (interference 0.02-0.04 mm, press-fit fixation). After installation, axial positioning is achieved using flanges and shaft shoulders. Radial runout ≤0.08 mm, axial runout ≤0.10 mm, and coaxiality error with the upper bushing (e.g., 369-1014) ≤0.05 mm.
Installation and Maintenance Points: Before installation, clean the bushing, journal, and housing bore. Check that the bushing is free from deformation and that the self-lubricating layer is not peeling off. Ensure the journal and housing bore surfaces are free of scratches and burrs. Measure the shaft diameter/bore diameter and roundness to ensure they meet tolerances (journal roundness ≤0.02 mm). (mm, housing bore roundness ≤0.03 mm).
During assembly, use a dedicated press-fitting tool to smoothly press the bushing into the housing bore, ensuring the flange fits snugly against the housing end face without tilting. After installation, secure it with locating pins or retaining rings to prevent circumferential rotation. Control the pressing force to 50-80 kN to avoid bushing deformation.
Maintenance Recommendations: Check the bushing wear and lubrication condition every 1000 hours. When the bushing inner diameter wear >0.15 mm or the self-lubricating layer wears down to expose the bronze layer, immediately replace the bushing and repair the journal/housing bore to prevent excessive clearance at the hinge joint from causing impact damage.
