CAT 380-7374 YM is a Caterpillar genuine bimetallic self-lubricating sleeve bearing (bushing), suitable for the boom, stick, and bucket pin joints of excavators, loaders, and other equipment. The following is the original data and does not include replacement parts information.
Core Technical Parameters (Raw Data)
Item Details
Basic Attributes
Model 380-7374 YM, Type: Bimetallic Sleeve Bearing (Steel Back + Bronze Alloy Liner + PTFE Self-Lubricating Layer), Material: Steel Back Q235 Carbon Steel (Electrophoretic Corrosion Protection), Liner CuSn10Pb10 Bronze, Lubricating Layer PTFE + Bronze Powder Composite, Single Weight 0.82 kg, Applicable Working Conditions: Low Speed Heavy Load (Linear Speed ≤ 0.8 m/s), Working Temperature: -30℃ to +150℃, Lubrication: Oil-free Self-lubricating / Extreme Pressure Lithium-based Grease, Protection Rating IP54, Accuracy Rating GB/T 12613-2019 P6, Rated Life L10≥8000 hours (under rated load)
Key Dimensions (Imperial / Metric)
Inner Diameter d=2.500 in (63.500 mm, Tolerance 0/-0.012 mm), Outer Diameter D=3.000 In (76.200 mm, tolerance 0/+0.015 mm), length L=2.000 in (50.800 mm, tolerance ±0.010 mm), liner thickness 0.76 mm (tolerance ±0.05 mm), lubricant layer thickness 0.08 mm (tolerance ±0.01 mm), chamfer 1×45° (tolerance ±0.1 mm)
Performance Parameters: Radial rated dynamic load Cr=65 kN, radial rated static load C0r=180 kN, coefficient of friction μ≤0.05 (oil-free condition), bearing pressure ≤35 MPa, allowable impact load ≤50 kN, self-lubricating capacity can meet 500 hours of oil-free intermittent operation, compatible pin diameter φ63.5 mm (tolerance 0/-0.010 mm)
Structural and Performance Advantages: Bimetallic self-lubricating structure: steel backing provides high-strength support, bronze liner is wear-resistant, PTFE… The composite layer is self-lubricating, suitable for harsh working conditions such as dust and humidity, reducing pin wear and lowering maintenance frequency.
Corrosion and wear-resistant design: The steel backing undergoes electrophoretic treatment for rust prevention, the bronze lining resists seizing, and the lubricating layer is resistant to chemical corrosion, making it suitable for outdoor operating environments of construction machinery and extending service life.
Suitable for heavy-duty joints: Compatible with low-speed, heavy-duty pin joints such as booms, sticks, and buckets, capable of withstanding frequent impact loads, and precisely matched with Cat original pins to ensure connection stability.
Installation and maintenance points (original data)
Installation: Clean the pin hole and pin shaft (free of oil and burrs), cold-press into the pin hole (pressing force ≤ 80 kN), after installation, the bearing end face should be flush with the hole opening, coaxiality ≤ 0.02 mm, and the clearance between the pin shaft and bearing 0.015-0.025 mm, ensuring smooth and unobstructed rotation.
Maintenance: Inspect bearing wear every 800 hours. If the inner diameter wear exceeds 0.2 mm or the lubricating layer peels off, replace immediately. In oilless operation, replenish grease every 500 hours (filling 1/4-1/3 of the bearing cavity) to prevent dry friction from exacerbating wear.
Troubleshooting: Common faults include excessive wear and abnormal noise, often caused by installation misalignment, pin wear, or insufficient lubrication. Replace the bearing and check the pin roundness (≤0.01 mm) and mounting hole coaxiality to ensure proper fit.
