Installation and Maintenance Points

Installation: Clean the journals and bearing housing bores, ensuring they are free of burrs and oil. The inner ring should be press-fitted to the shaft (0.015-0.025 mm). Heat to 80-100℃ for hot fitting. Do not directly strike the roller end faces or cage.

The outer ring and bearing housing have a clearance fit (0.010-0.020 mm). After press-fitting, the coaxiality should be ≤ 0.05 mm. Adjust the preload according to the original manufacturer’s specifications (axial clearance 0.05-0.10 mm).

Maintenance
Lubrication: Use CAT DEO-ULS diesel engine oil for oil lubrication and NLGI Grade 2 lithium-based grease for grease lubrication. Add grease/change oil every 500-800 hours, with the oil level reaching the center of the bearing.

Inspection: Regularly monitor vibration and temperature. Stop the machine and inspect if the vibration speed exceeds 4.5 mm/s or the temperature exceeds 85℃. Replace the bearing immediately and inspect the journal/seat bore for wear if the clearance exceeds 0.20 mm.
