Check the collar for deformation, cracks, and peeling of the galvanized layer. Measure the bolt diameter and collar inner diameter to ensure the clearance is within specifications.
Installation steps: Place the collar onto the M12 bolt, positioning it between the fender mounting hole and the frame/axle mounting surface. Align the mounting hole, insert the bolt, and install the flat washer and spring washer in sequence. Tighten the bolt with a torque wrench to 45-55 N·m, avoiding over-tightening to prevent collar deformation.
Maintenance and replacement: Check the collar’s condition every 500 hours for deformation, loosening, and peeling of the galvanized layer. Replace the collar immediately when the outer diameter wear exceeds 0.2mm, or when cracks or deformation appear. It is recommended to replace the bolt, flat washer, and spring washer simultaneously during replacement.
