For bearings installed in pairs, use a face-to-face (DF) or back-to-back (DB) arrangement to ensure axial positioning accuracy.
Installation and Maintenance Points:
Before installation, clean the bearing, journal, and bearing housing, checking for rust, deformation, or raceway peeling. Install the inner ring using the hot-fit method (heat the inner ring to 80-100℃ and hold for 10-15 minutes). The outer ring should be cold-pressed in; do not force it in.
After installation, check that the bearing rotates freely without jamming. Run it under no-load for 30 minutes, monitoring the temperature to ≤85℃. Check every 1500 hours. Replace immediately if pitting, peeling, or clearance >0.10 mm is observed on the rollers or raceways.
The initial grease filling should be 1/3-1/2 of the bearing cavity. Replenish every 1000 hours, but shorten this to 500 hours in dusty/humid conditions. Avoid mixing different types of grease.
