Installation and Maintenance Points: Before installation, clean the inner and outer rings of the bearing, shaft diameter, and bearing housing bore. Check the bearing for rust/cracks/ If rolling elements are stuck, install them using either the hot fitting method (oil temperature 80–90℃, expansion approximately 0.15 mm) or the cold shrinkage method (liquid nitrogen – 196℃, contraction approximately 0.18 mm). The interference fit should be controlled between 0.015–0.025 mm. Direct hammering of the bearing end face is prohibited.
Clearance control: The radial clearance between the bearing and the shaft diameter should be 0.12–0.18 mm (C3 clearance). Check with a dial indicator after installation. Excessive clearance can lead to impact vibration, while insufficient clearance can cause overheating and seizing.
Lubrication requirements: For grease lubrication, fill to 2/3 of the bearing’s internal space (approximately 1.2 kg). For oil lubrication, ensure the oil level is above the center of the lowest rolling element. Check the oil quality and replenish grease every 500 hours to prevent impurities from entering the bearing.
Troubleshooting: If abnormal noise, temperature rise, or increased vibration occurs, first check the bearing clearance (if it exceeds 0.3 mm, it needs to be replaced), cage damage, or lubrication failure. If necessary, replace the bearing and correct the shaft diameter roundness to ≤0.01 mm.
