Installation and Maintenance Points: Before installation, clean the inner and outer surfaces of the bearing, journal, and bearing housing bore. Check for scratches, porosity, and bronze layer peeling. Measure dimensions and fit tolerances to ensure compliance. Apply Cat-specific assembly oil to the bearing housing bore for easy cold-press installation.
Use a special press to apply even pressure during installation. Do not strike the end face to prevent damage to the bronze layer. After installation, manually rotate the shaft to ensure no jamming and radial clearance of 0.010-0.018 mm.
Maintenance and Replacement: Check bearing wear every 1000 hours. If inner bore wear exceeds 0.15 mm or the bronze layer cracks or peels, replace immediately. It is recommended to replace the bearing simultaneously with the bearing cap and O-ring to ensure support and sealing performance.
